在遥远的贵州山川里，有一个小村落，这个村子里有一位苗族老奶奶，她已经80多岁了，老伴儿早在去年过世了。 一天早晨，小红从苗族老奶奶的家旁走过，门虚掩着，她从门缝里看到老奶奶累得倒在床上睡着了，可家里还有很多脏衣服没有洗呢！小红在学校上学的时候，老师说过，我们这些少先队员要尊老爱幼。小红灵机一动，决定要帮老奶奶洗衣服。

小红正准备把洗好的衣服晾干。因为晾衣杆太高了，小红够不着，就用小板凳垫着。小红突然摔倒了，发出巨大的响声。奶奶被吵醒了，边走边说：“是

脸舒展开了，她把自己的手放在小红的肩膀上，笑眯眯地说：“小红，你真是个好孩子呀！我们非亲非故，你却这么照顾我，真是比我的亲人还亲呀……”老奶奶说
着说着，突然变得哽咽了，原来，她唯一的女儿在外地教书，几年难得回来，这是第一次有人照顾这位老婆婆。
听了老奶奶的话，小红变得不好意思了，原来就红彤彤的脸变得更红了，害羞地说：“老奶奶，这本来就是我应该做的，不用谢我。”
