Faulty Watch
With reference to the matter above, I would like to make a complaint about a faulty watch that I have bought at your premises a few days ago.
2. Contrary to what was promised, the watch is not water-proofed. Even a short exposure under the rain has caused water to seep through. This is a great problem for me since my work requires me to deal with water all the time and a watch that is not water-proofed will be quite useless in this case.
3. Even worse is the quality of the watch itself. The watch does not seem to be able to keep to the time well since it will constantly run slower by a few minutes in an hour. This creates a great problem for me, especiallly when left overnight. By then, the watch would have been slower by more than an hour or so and I would not have realized it and miss my appointments.
4. Seeing how much this watch has troubled me, I would like to request for a refund. If that is against your company policy, then exchanging it for another one which is in good working condition is also acceptable. I hope you can investigate into this matter and make sure that it does not happen again. I am sure giving empty promises would not be good for your company image.
5. Along with this letter, I have attached a photocopy of the purchasing receipt of the watch. I am grateful for your help in this matter and I look forward to hear from you soon.

Learning English takes time so we should spend lots of time practicing using English every day. Besides, we should listen to English English tapes and radio programmes every day so that we can make progress in listening. What's more, we'd better read English stories and newspapers. Recite the wonderful sentences and paragraphs and then try to write diaries in English. Be patient and confident. Don't be shy and don't be afraid of making mistakes. We must understand that mistakes are unavoidable. A saying goes" Failure will blossom into success." So be patient with your mistakes and try to awoid them other time. I believe" practice makes perfect". So if we study hard and have good ways of learning English, I am sure we can get good grades in English.
Students long to attend colleges or universities for various reasons. In my opinion, the most common reasons are to prepare for a career, to have new experiences and learn to be independent.Career preparation is becoming more and more important to young people. For many, this is the primary reason to go to college. They know that the job market is competitive and in order to be employed in the future they have to be well equipped with knowledge and skills.
Also, students go to colleges or universities to have experiences and learn to live on their own. Going to colleges often means having the opportunity to meet with different people from different parts of the country. They learn to communicate and co-operate with each other. For most students, we guess, it is the first time that they have been away from home. They are faced with many new situations and have to learn to solve them independently, making decisions on their own and dealing with various things themselves. So colleges and universities help them grow up.
Surely, colleges and universities become their first choice.
What should I learn in the college
What should I learn in the college . This is a searious question,now as a sophomore, I have experienced a whole year of college life. The life here is different from the life in high school.
We can learn our professional knowledge from the teachers. But the teachers in the college are also different,they leave once the classes finish. We cannot find them except during the class time,and they don’t have rigid control to us.so we must have a possessiveness. We also learn other useful knowledge by ourselves or training class. For example, my major is computer ,in the school we can only learn the knowledge of computer,however in the need of the market ,learning Japanese is essential. In order to have more chances in the future ,I start to learn it by myselfe. Of course by dint of computer and textbook. In this way ,I can learn susscessfully.
We’d better struggle for the future rather than regret for the past. It tell us grasp today, make the most use of today, learn everything we can learn. Knowledge is power.
