自己写了个小短文，错误多多，麻烦大家帮忙改改错，最好能简单说下为何错了，谢谢~

It was Sunday, nothing really special today.

My classmate came and we did exercise in the afternoon.

First, we played badminton for about one hour. I think we played quite well. I felt so good each time I hit the shuttlecock. I can even played with my left hand. And so did my classmate.

Next, we played Chinese chess. To tell you the truth, we don’t play it quite often. So we are not that good. When we played, nobody would bother to watch us play at all, not for even one minute. They stopped and went, signing, then shaking their heads.
I felt a little bit embarrassed. Though we weren’t good at

chess, the most important thing was that we did have a good time. Our final score was 2:2. (Tied)

Yeah! We are two happy chess pieces!

有几个小问题要注意: 1.写当天做过的事,最好用过去时态:简单,清楚. 很多时候中文表示已经做的事,在英文里并不是要用完成时态来表达的.
2. 尽量多看英文原文.感觉你的表达方式很多还是用中文的思维表达方式,如水平底(level is low)等. 今后看到好的词组,可以把它们记在一个小本子上,写作时拿出来看,就有现成的了.
3.写叙述文时,你可模仿这个模式: One day---First---Next---Then---Finally
4. 你今天要记的单词:羽毛球shuttlecock, 摇头shake(shook) one’s head
5.文章要有题目(title)

A nuisance



There is a nuisance in my neighborhood. He is an old man whose house is right next to mine. My house is at No.18 and his is at No.22.

. Perhaps you'll ask why I call him a nuisance neighbor. Ok, let me tell you why. Every night when everybody is sound asleep, this old man will stand alone on his veranda after two am.,. Calling loudly!

He has some accents. I don’t quite understand what he says... but I can understand he was cursing our country as well as our Communist party.

Party, community, etc... The man shouted at least one hour every night... He has been acting like this for three months...

Perhaps the government has done something unfair to him. He can have a lot of complaint. But he shouldn’t bother other people when they have a nice rest... He shouldn’t just think about his own feelings.

But we have no idea what to do with him since he is a crazy person.
I really wish he could be sent to an asylum.

I'm currently a freshman. The topic that I want to talk about today is education at university . When graduated from middle highschool, I had adead of me many a choice for the future: either Looking for a job to make lots of money, going to college for a higher degree,or even joining the military service. Eventually , I chose to be a student in this university, just like most of us . Why is that ?

One reason is that college education is not only the preparation for future careers, but also it prepare us for the rest of our lives.
Secondly , college education may contribute to a good understanding of the world as well as ourselves, adding spice to life, enriching our horizon ,and broaden our visions .

As the saying goes , "the more you learn, the more you earn" - and they are more than just money
