some people hold the view that we should give up the futher eduation to blend in the society more compactly just on account of the seemingly useless diploma. however, is it really useless? if it is of no value just because of some people's not getting their dream job. i would say it is not the proper criterion.if 100 graduates holding the same diploma are applying for the very job, 99 graduates, without doubt, would feel disappointed.but all of the 99 graduates therefore take the attitude that it is useless to get a futher degree, don't you think it is unsuitable?
for my own part, the diploma just indicate that one may have the ability to be qualifiled to a job.if you own one, you may get an oppprtunity to apply for your longing job, otherwise it would be of much more difficulty to get it.wheather one qualified to the futher career job or not, i think it lies more on his abilty he obtioned during his eduation than the diploma he gaines at last.so if one with a hige diploma can't get involved into the social reality quickly, the first thing he should do is pondering if he own the ability to deserve it rather to complain that the diploma is useless.

postgraduates are finding it difficult to find jobs. This may sound strange since postgraduatestudents used to be the "most favored" people in society. They have received a higher education, hence they are more intelligent, knowledgeable than their counterparts. But chances are that some of them can hardly find jobs after graduating. There are two reasons that account for this strange phenomenon. One is that some postgraduate students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them. Another reason is that the majors some students pursue do not match with the demands of the job market. As a result, they can only sit and miss opportunities. To solve this problem, I think postgraduate students should know their own strengths and weaknesses and have the right attitude towards themselves and the job vacancies. In addition, they should not attach too much importance to material aspects of the job. They should put priority to their future development and their contributions to society in stead. Furthermore, they should think of receiving some further training to meet the demands of society.
