就词性上来说，两者都可以是动词或者名词形式。
都是动词的状态下，前者是买卖或者出售的意思，后者是前者的ing形式。
都是名词的状态下，前者是市场的意思；后者是指行销、销售，或者营销学。
市场营销的英文就是marketing。
1.marketing-- is "the process of planning and executing the pricing, promotion, and distribution of goods, ideas, and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational goals.
2.sales---the act of selling; exchange of property of any kind, or of services, for an agreed sum of money or other valuable consideration
marketing是包括购买和销售.针对购买,销售,这个部门的人员要做市场调查,产品开发,制订生产计划,定好价格,做广告宣传和包装等事项
sales主要就是销售.在这个部门的员工要有说服人的能力.
marketing强调商品销售业务和商品自生产者转移到消费者手中的一系列有关机能(市场营运、运销, 在市场上买卖)
