其实题中这一句原本是：
In the small town alone, more than 200 houses and buildings are heated by solar energy, not to mention the big cities in the region.
仅仅是在这个小镇里，就有超过200栋房屋和建筑靠太阳能供热，更不用说在同一区域内的大城市了。
根据句意，alone在句中表示“仅仅，单单”，不是作为形容词修饰town，所以A，D都很容易排除。

adj.单独的，孤独的，独一无二的，只能做表语；
adv.仅仅，唯有，只有。
In the small tow整个地点状语置于句首，是为了强调“在一个小镇里”，这个题归为倒装的用法。为了强调“地点”，才把地点状语前置（倒装），因此放在句首的应是地点状语。
