点解food cans 用tin 唔用copper?

copper or tin are both less reactive than iron and thus
if the metal is scratched
the iron will rust.

The major reason is : Tin and its pounds are NON-TOXIC.
tin(IV) oxide formed an imprevious layer to oxygen and water to prevent the rusing to iron. copper is a heavy metal that is poisonous to human. but if scratched
rusting will occur faster as you expected. however they are cheaper.
