中岛美嘉，1983年2月19日出生于日本鹿儿岛县日置市伊集院町，日本女歌手、演员。
2001年，以主演日剧《新宿伤痕恋歌》及演唱单曲《STARS》出道 。2002年12月，获得第44届日本唱片大奖最佳新人奖。2003年11月，发行首张专辑《爱无止尽》，该专辑连续两周登上公信榜首位，销量突破140万 。2005年，主演电影《NANA》，并以“NANA starring MIKA NAKASHIMA”名义发行单曲《GLAMOROUS SKY》。
2007年，发行单曲《LIFE》，该单曲获得第35届日本有线大奖有线音乐优秀奖。2008年，发行专辑《美声嘉音》，发行首周再度登上公信榜首位 。2010年，由于患上咽鼓管开放症而停止音乐活动 。
